Our Story
We are and always will be family owned and operated. In 1962 Jason's father, Paul, started a Lawn and Snow company in the Kenwood/Lake of the Isles area with his brother in law. A few years later Paul and his brother in law decided it was best to part ways and continue business on their own.
Jason worked as an employee of his dad's business along with his brothers in the Kenwood area for several years keeping customers satisfied. Jason's dad taught him and his family that hard work, honesty & loyalty are the most important values to hold in business and life.
Jay's father passed in the mid 2000's. Jay worked for his brother's business until In 2014 Jason decided to honor his father's legacy and start a business of his own; J. Ylitalo Lawn & Snow.
It is Jay's promise to always honor the value of hard work and honesty he has been taught by his father. J. Ylitalo Lawn and Snow strives to create personable & trusting relationships with customers as well as providing quality work for them time and time again.
